I’ve never been a fan of second chance romance, but they are kind of unavoidable in the world of romcom. The main character has issues. She’s just so angry and “woe is me”. She misconstrued selfishness as self sacrifice. She supposedly broke his heart to save him, and has the audacity to be the one who’s angry. She also lowkey abusive.
