Hmm. I'm enjoying the writing and the plot, but Jessica feels just a little bit off in this one. She can be nosy, but usually in the service of justice. Rymer hasn't actually *done* anything criminal, so I think she'd be more on the "mind your own business" side of things at this point, but she's being very suspicious and prying without any real provocation thus far. Hopefully just growing pains by a new author.
