PRIDE & PREJUDICE:
I found this iconic work by Austen somewhat hard to follow with its many characters, yet I enjoyed it overall. I am happy that Netherfield's future is safe, Darcy and Liz are wedded (not to mention the former's reputation rehabilitated while charming Col Wickham is condemned), and to see Jane and Bingley get married too.
I don't often read romantic stories, but it did bring out my romantic side.

I finished 'Mansfield Park' today.
Probably not one of my favourite works by Austen, but it was an ok story.
Fanny Price—I found—was like Cindarella: abused and mocked by her cousins, yet was able to have a happy ending with Edmund, whereas Sir Henry was at times an annoyance for his persistence to win Fanny's heart.
Discussions on theatre, Antigua (slavery), and religion were inviting for a reader like me.
