This book kinda sucks. The characters aren’t great, the plot moves so fast that you get introduced to characters and they never return to the story within the same chapter, and the outlook of the beat generation is very flawed, or at least the portrayal of them in this book. That said, nothing really happens in the plot. He just hitchhikes from one city to the next. Hoping next 100 pgs get better.
