Chapter 11. So cute. Merry and Jayson are going out to dinner together. Jayson still doesn’t know that Mary is Merry. He invited her out as friends and as a thank you for helping with the stats he needed entered.

Chapter 9. Merry works late inputting the data for Jason. He works closely and kindly with her and gets her an eggnog latte and offers to drive her home. Merry is falling for Jay. She’s promised they will meet before years end.

Chapter 8. Merry has talked a little to Jayson and revealed that she knows him and she is one of the “little people” that he doesn’t pay attention to. Now, she is working overtime on a Friday night to put in data he just received.

Chapter 6. Jason showed up for the meetup, was really looking forward to it, brought a bouquet of yellow daisies, had told his cousin about it, and Merry did not show up! Did she show up, see him, know who it was, and then slip away?

Chapter 5. They plan to meet! Oh, I am seeing a couple of possibilities. One, one of them will see the other and be like, oh no! And manage not to complete the meet up. Or they will do the meet up and it will be completely awkward. It seems early in the book for either of these outcomes.

Chapter 4. Another chat date complete and Jayson meets his father for lunch. Merry has requested to wait a bit before they meet.

Chapter 3. Cute that Merry and Bright are so interested in each other when actually Merry cannot stand Bright in the office. Very ironic.

Chapter 2. Getting to know Jason Bright. I definitely see Merry and Bright getting together. They both put up pictures of dogs for their dating profile.

Chapter 1. Nice into to the characters. Love this family already and that they have signed Merry up for a dating site using the dog’s picture.
