I’m through Purgatory now and I liked it so much more than the inferno because there’s actually hope and we meet so many fewer people I’ve never heard of. There’s some great things to meditate on like how it is good to pray for the souls in Purgatory and purification of the soul is probably really really hard and involves fire. Anyways Beatrice is pretty cool and I’m ready to go through paradise with her

After finishing the Inferno I can say that is definitely not a place you want to end up at. Being an unrepentant sinner is probably not a good idea. The punishments got pretty crazy down there. Virgil was pretty cool, he definitely knew his way around the place. But to quote my friend Troy, we’re going to have to tell him “bye forever” because it’s time to head on over to Purgatory.
