alex (eric whitacre version) ugh this book is so beautifully written it’s so good 😭😭
to be fair he’s jewish, and he went through the concentration camps, so he probably had a different perspective and experience on it that we did yk (btw i do not have enough info about the stuff between palestine and israel, don’t quote me on any of this lmao 😭😭)

⋆。°✩grace✩°。⋆ I read this aswell for school and it was really good

lj ♡ as a jew who supports palestine, i'd just like to say please don't let this get in the way of your experience reading this book. it's a really really important perspective on the holocaust regardless of your opinions on the state of israel

Mia this book is actually so good and so heartbreaking! I hope you enjoy it regardless 💕

⭒.˚ esh (hyunjin's ver.) ˚.⭒ @lj i think ill enjoy the book regardless and im not about to let the author’s personal choices (whether how wrong i find them or not) shape my opinion on a book that is about his life.

⭒.˚ esh (hyunjin's ver.) ˚.⭒ @alex i totally understand that and im not going to disregard his life story or disrespect it just because of his choices.

alex (eric whitacre version) @esh yay! this book is so gorgeous and I hope you enjoy it :)
