The Thing Around Your Neck was the only short story that has genuinely had me stop and ponder over after finishing it woahwoah

the cliffhanger at the end of imitation killed me what😭 the unsettling lack of resolution is so saddening bc realistically so many women never get that “happy-ever-after” and do continue to live as actors/victims of lying husbands… :(
