I’m taking my time with this one and am really enjoying it! I really love Farah and how strong she is—she certainly knows what she wants. As for Dorian, it’s a bit more complex. He can be rather frustrating at times, but that’s because he’s hiding many secrets. I have a feeling that he’s actually Dougan, the very same kid who supposedly died. Their story is quite angsty and heartbreaking though.

It's a little confusing with who's who and all but I like it! That prologue though. Great introduction to the story! I feel both pity and admiration for Farah. As for Dorian, I'm not sure how I feel about him. He's very cold, brutal, and calculating. I hope Farah can "thaw" his heart. There are moments when she does, actually! I also feel like Dorian is totally Douglas btw... lol.
