Collins is engaged to Charlotte, of whom is secretly bitten and awaiting to turn into a zombie.

Poor Lizzy, it seems Collins has taken an interest in her. Though it is interesting to see how she thinks of characters vs. How they truly think of her. I find it a tad difficult to keep track of names, so I may end up rereading this and taking notes to keep track of everything.

Interesting so far, even if I haven't gotten very far. It's interesting to see that the idea of marriage is less thought of in this book, as opposed to reality back then where it was heavily pushed upon the successors of the household. I like the implication that the daughters are also expected to be able to fight for themselves, as back then in reality, they were expected to simply bear children.
