Audible +, mixing my serious fantasy reads with something else.
This one is a romance set up in a shadow realm, so far not bad, quite fun.
The FMC is hilarious, the storyline is ridiculous, but somehow all of it is just enjoyable. Perhaps because it is an audiobook.
Let’s see if the story gets a bit more serious, but hopefully not tedious.
Since I really want to switch my brain off, this works.

This book gives me two vibes
(1) Persephone & Hades, just super open minded Persephone with an abandonment trauma.
(2) Dementors. I mean in shadow world they are basically good looking people with odd eyes, while in human world they are shadows sucking the fear out of people. Ha! Never thought I’d see such take.
Shows us that you may look like a monster, but be interesting and women will still like you.
