There is potential
But you can very well see that author's primary occupation isn't fiction writing. I can't say much because the world building process is still ongoing, and there is obviously a lot more to come.
Additionally, maybe it also has to do with English probably not being the author's first language, but at times writing is a bit blunt :)
I will continue tho, it's not that I'm disappointed in general
