Her writing isn’t the same. At all. And I might cry. Like truly sob. It’s like she forgot how to write banter and romance. Don’t even get me started on intimate scenes. Cas and Poppy don’t even feel the same. This is what happens when you drag out a series this long. One. One person has been successful with character continuity with this many books and it’s SJM. This is just sad at this point.

Also it’s the second to last book - now she’s pulling the notion of magic out of thin air? Ughhhhhhh it’s like left and right she can’t help but show she’s abandoned her readers. I hate how sloppy in effort these last few books have been I’m borderline about to sob in annoyance.

Imma be the one to say it… not digging the real world references. You pay attention, just like in the last book she wrote, she just smothers her readers in her political views. No… no… that’s not what readers read fantasy for
