Okay so I am beyond fed up with this book. Around page 50 the author cites a “UN report” that 96% of violent crime is committed by Men. Looked this up in the sources, not cited. Looked it up online, inaccurate data.

I am trying so hard to like this book but the prose is so unbelievably bad. I know this is about women not needing to conform and let me be clear, this is NOT about the author’s gender, the use of the word “fuck” is so egregious that it genuinely takes a lot of weight off of the good message in this book. Nowhere does the swearing add anything to the novel, it only subtracts. Removing that word -1000 word count
