Loving this book - I really didn’t know Elvira’s game at all. Only as a cult 80s/90s icon. And I never watched the Macabre Movie night. This will all change - a feminist lgbtq+ ally. Also her life is WILD. Like the celebrities/rock stars in this book are unbelievable. Her retelling of the AIDS epidemic in the UK is also so heart wrenching but paramount in terms of eye witness experience.
