Genesis 15:1 is one of my favorite verses and I prefer it in the NKJV
“I am your shield and exceedingly great reward.”
Reflection: Don’t spend so much time on the promise that you forget the Promise Giver who is our exceedingly great reward. He alone is enough!

Genesis 11-12 Abram stopped halfway and settled. But God graciously repeated the call after Abram’s dad died. Abram then moved into the land of Canaan.
Reflection: Sometimes things in our lives need to ”die” so we can keep moving forward. Partial obedience (going halfway) is actually disobedience.
