Extraordinary! The police and the investigating attorney just arrived at the inn in Mokeye where Demiti and Grushenka have been on a spree, drinking champagne and partying all night with the singing Jews and the lice-covered peasant folk. 🇷🇺 📚

Competition for the attention of Grushenka, has Fyodor and eldest son Dmitri as mortal enemies. Dmitri is demanding rubles from his father to square a debt of honor with former-fiancé Katerina Ivanovna. Ivan told Alyosha that he was not interest and leaving for Moscow.
Later, Ivan encountered a self-pitying Pavel/ Smerdyakov who suggested everyone’s problems would be fixed if Fyodor were to accidentally die.

Fascinating characters, a deep look into 1860’s Russia, I like Alicia, hate Dimitri coward, and Ivan is still a mystery. Fyodor, the father, is a manipulative, petty, selfish child, a sensualist and a drunk… but he is pretty funny, and as of now I’m curious and entertained.
