I can see the moral dilemma of how Finlay knows but has a paradoxical choice to make with Steven and the variables of their children and the way lifestyles change and how he is coming to beg to have his children like Fin originally did. Now, she has immense power and opportunities and opinions from others. It’s really interesting seeing this thematic play out. I like the pacing. It really has multiple good scenes.

The way we get a good look at Julian again. He’s a nice guy. Seriously- it’s weird he kind of knows her story. Vero, Julian and Fin are great main protagonists/supporting. Man, Fin is very possessive of her Julian. It’s so funny. OMG. Steven just interrupted the make out session. It will bring more tension already. Huh. Steven is looking rather in a rough spot but has shady business practices. Everyone no saint

Georgia is soo hilarious. The wink and the mention of adult activities. Fin’s mom is having a omg. If u like Nora Robert’s books maybe try this one lol. Vero knows the mischievous stuff that Fin does that is just. Anyway, that’s more prominent. The supporting characters are deepened. Their habits and beliefs really shape it well. Wow; the way she is in a pickle with options and then the spice is an addition

This expands the cast of characters like Finlay’s mom and the dynamic and time setting in early November I’m guessing. The vibe is kind of weird with the mom being very not giving Steven any props. She seems like a suspect. Why? IDK. The way Vero and Fin get together to perhaps get info is nice. Fin’s mother has a strong opinion on who she dates. Parent child friction IS always there but it’s a nice nuance!

That is quite a shocking statement and start. The way Finlay dwells on the things that happened in the last book and her ongoing feelings about her ex husband Steven. She is still not over the fact that the divorce custody case isn’t exactly where she would like it to be despite Steven (maybe) coming around to her. She felt temporary relief. That’s what I’m seeing here. The way she says I can’t say words lol
