But I’m loving it. The aesthetic is very Sin City, Gotham, Arkham vibes, and the writing is exquisite—rich, detailed, and immersive, to the point where it feels like you’re walking those streets yourself. Really hoping I can finish it this weekend to give you words🤞

I also love the Raymond Chandler noir detective books and the blurb made me think of those. I have little doubt the plot will totally work for me, more interested in the author's writing style but sounds like that's excellent. I'm in! 👍👍
