Round two with this one and I'm not liking it again :( I got the ick the first time around and though ok this might just be a me thing. Idk. It feels like the author read Stormlight Archive and loved spren and shardblades/gems and ran with her own story with them.

So I've been trying to read this for a few days now and I am just not interested in the story... I'm reading an ARC of the new trad edition so idk if anything has changed from the indie version. Is this really worth it? I feel like by 100 pages I should be invested in the story.
