Hi Ann, I do not live in Texas (but my dad was born there). This was chosen as our monthly book club read. All women, none of us has ever fished, but a couple of us saw a film inspired by this book and the author's journey of healing: Mending the Line. I can tell you right now it will be on my most favorites shelf. It's not about the fishing.

What an interesting book club choice! I am adding it to my list. I don't fish, either, but, I love nature. More importantly, I will read any book you say is on your most favorites list!!
