I added this book to my Kindle because none of the books I had holds on / wanted to read were available. I searched in Libby with the filter “Available Now” and this was super high on the list.

I thought, “Wow, a Nicholas Sparks book that WASN’T made into a movie? So odd!”

Except. Now I get why.

Don’t get me wrong - it’s very good writing! Just an awful story. The MMC’s wife is… horrendous.
