I don't typically write in-progress thoughts about books, maybe because I go through them quick, but also because I try to go in blind and not hypothesize about where the story is going. I'm so particular about the sci-fi that I read (and enjoy), and this one is just Crichton-esque enough that I'm really into it, really attached. I think I know where the story is going, and I am already feeling some kind of way...
