this book has strong dialogue and emotional connection between characters (which is what drives the story forward) but its loose on the overall plot

i am really liking it so far but every once in a while i read a sentence that im think oh right i forgot she had this “whole” plan to make descended pay, it just feels like such a backstory plot

this 8% is already so much better than book 1
