I wanted to love this book. I love the idea of the story line…but I don’t feel like I know the characters enough to have an emotional attachment. I can’t tell if Alaric is going to redeem himself or if he’s genuinely just an ass. I can’t give this one more than a two…probably won’t finish the series.
