Slowly but surely, I am making my way through this work in Russian. It has its moments of genius, but I'm certainly enjoying it less than Crime and Punishment. It slower (exacerbated by my slow reading in Russian) and none of the characters are as compelling as Raskolnikov. However, it greatly picks up pace in the last third and I'm excited to see how everything unfolds.
