The first season of ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ premieres this weekend, and it will be based on this novella. There are two more novellas that follow these characters (Dunk and Egg), and each will be the basis of season 2 and 3.

So far I’ve really enjoyed how ‘bite-sized’ these are. ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ can be quite intense (thousands of pages), so this is a great change of pace.
