I’m having a very unique experience reading this book. I am currently in Japan doing language school, and the primary topic of this book is translation. I am by no means a linguist or a polyglot, but going through the rigorous process of learning a language via school and immersion, I’m relating to the text on a deeper level. It’s a dense book and I have a lot on my plate rn, so I’m chewing on it slowly.

This is very fitting to read so far since I am in language school right now.
