Human nature might not be wholly selfish (I’m reading sinful)… Parenthood already cracked this for me, but this makes more pieces fall through. What are the implications of telling multiple generations they are slaves to their own sinful nature? Kids believe who you say they are.

I did not know Gabor Maté was a Hungarian Jew during Nazi occupation!! He could have easily been killed, but he uses his trauma to literally heal the whole world. I knew he was a gem and gift to society, but I didn’t know how close the world was to not having him
