I was pretty outspoken on my refusal to watch or read this series. I had tried to read the book and watch the series at 15/16, and never tried again. I recently watched all of house of the dragon, which I loved, and decided to finally try again. I am pleasantly surprised, and a little shaken by the differences between this and the show, and honestly I’m liking the book a lot more.
