The book is short but that's not the problem, I've read short books that are interesting and tell compelling stories. In a way I'm thankful it's so short so I don't lose my patience and throw it on my dnf pile. The old man's habits to share personal stories of other people get fastidious very quickly. Just getting the feeling that this is another age gap romance fantasy that the author seems to repeat in his books...
