There was no real betrayal. Her dad is the one who cheat on her mom and she has a half sister she didn’t know about, but he died so she cuts off her friends and he mate and runs away and behaves as if they are the worst people in the planet.

Finding it hard to be sympathetic to the FMC. We’ve seen her in previous books as a loyal friends and fierce warrior. Got hot headed, but also a joker. A female “Cassian” if you will. She loves her found family. Only to now discover that she isolated herself from her friends and family
