Hell of a crusade to read this book. Tempt to DNF!

Half of the book and I am feeling quite meh! I can see some of the dots connecting, but it is so subtle that makes no real meaningful impact. Some of the stories do get on my nerves. I had to skip the final pages of the first part of Cavendish because I was thinking: what am I reading? Boring! Thus far the only parts I have enjoyed are Luisas and Sonmi.

I have struggled to get through the first two halves of the story, being minimally related. But it is on the third that you first start to connect the dots. Very well written thus far.
