Yeah, nope. I'm done with this book.

Seriously asking myself if finishing this book is even worth it..

Ruin it thinking about her maybe being in danger btw.

I'm all for women being unapologetically sexual, but I just can't with her having no trace of survival instincts in her body.

Your sister literally tells you the ward warns you if you are in the presence of supernatural beings and gets worried about your safety. And you procceed to roll your eyes and say she's being paranoid and tell her everything's fine and you must have imagined the ward being black before...

How can she be a witch and not even doubt Mist might not be human by now????

Just to clarify. As a reader, I know Mist has no intentions to hurt her. That's pretty much a given even if he's a demon okay? BUT the fact that this woman is CHOOSING to ignore the obvious red flags just because he's hot and is looking at her like she's a treat, is getting on my nerves.

I am a curvy woman with insecurities. So believe me when I say I get how it is, but I would NEVER IGNORE RED FLAGS LIKE THAT.

That's what she texted her sister. The one who drew the protection ward and was planning to wait up for updates from her to make sure she's okay with this stranger in her house.She texted that right after he arrived and she saw the ward is red. I ROLLED MY EYES SO HARD. YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUSSSSSSS

Okay I can confirm I'm not a big fan of the author's style of writing. Still describing characters's personalities long after their introduction.. or the main character thinking "omg x is a demon" by the end of a book as if you still can't believe it when you pretty much found out at the beginning (this happened on the previous book) idk it feels like going back and forth and makes the characters who do that annoying

I'm kind of struggling here... I'm interested in the plot and that makes me want to keep on reading to see how the story goes, but the way it's written... idk. Same issue I had at the end of My Funny Demon... with being repetitive with certain things or thoughts. I already know the female mc is insecure. I don't need her to mention it in her thoughts every single time the pov is on her.
