quietly postmodern, but maybe just in the way that everything is postmodern. At least, when you accept that you have an iphone in your novel. poorly rated on goodreads but maybe that's because this is my bread and butter: sometimes aimless sometimes beautiful sections of prose about being in your twenties and not making art. a book almost inspiring and relatable in its quest to portray an artist who is too distracted to create, but then you remember that since you're reading the book, the writing eventually was completed.
