The same David who killed the Philistine Goliath later had Bathsheba’s husband, the soldier Uriah, killed, took Bathsheba as his wife, had a child with her who died, and later had another child after God forgave him.

Judges 5 -Judges 16

The story of Samson. I don’t understand why he gave in to Delilah after she repeatedly asked the secret to his strength knowing each time she got an answer coincidentally the Phillistines attempted to capture him until his strength was robbed and they finally got him. Although he was physically strong, he was spiritually & mentally weak. But, God does answer his final prayers.

Joshua 15- Judges 5
“So fear the lord and serve him wholeheartedly”

Numbers 29 - Joshua 14
Rules for stoning. The 10 commandments repeated. God’s wrath. Kings impaled.

NUMBERS 13-27
Israel fears delay God’s promise, but God remains faithful and prepares a new generation to move forward.

LEVITICUS 26 - NUMBERS 12
Mostly talk of the tabernacle having guards and those that serve it, along with additional rules.

EXODUS 37 - LEVITICUS 25
Specific rules on offerings along with specific rules by the Lord. A lot of these rules no longer apply because New Testament overwrites them.

EXODUS 9-36
Moses got the people of Israel out of Egypt after all the plagues and parting of the Red Sea. The 10 commandments. The building of the tabernacle, so that God could live among people and be worshipped on the Sabbath. No other Gods nor Idols.

Jacob request not to be buried in Egypt when he died. Jacob tells what will happen to each son comparing them to animals and gives blessings before death. When his son Joseph dies he is buried in Egypt.
