This is my first Dickens. Very different than Wilkie Collins. I love his books. I wonder why Dickens is revered so highly over W.Collins.

I cannot understand Joe Gargery. He is speaking my language and it might as well be a foreign language. This is the frustration with parts of some classic novels. Other things besides the language said or done by other characters are not completely clear to me either with this book/author
