On a real fiction kick for someone who's not into fiction?

Haha, well, in full transparency, I’m on a bit of a “finish some of the books I’ve started kick” 😬 Been on this one since last August and finally transitioned to audiobook. I haven’t fully figured out what my “issue” is. For a long time I thought I just wasn’t landing on the right type of fiction to grab my attention (totally expected to be gripped by Martin’s books, although I’ve learned since that maybe I started with the wrong book/series?). Regardless, I think I’m discovering I get into them more when I’m listening?

That said, I’m still fairly determined to appreciate fiction writing/authors more because 1. I sometimes get bogged down with all the theology/non-fiction I choose, depending on the topics. And 2. I feel like it’s an artform and I want to learn how to appreciate it as such. 😏☺️

I totally get the finish the book kick. Also I know so many people love Charles Martin and I just...don't.
