if the soul stays, even if it doesn't remember anything once it dies, and gets reincarnated into another being, then the memories shouldn't matter for Hirasaka, right? but i would be so sad to not know how and if I've lived... imagine getting to the end to not remember why it all happened. hirasaka does serve a purpose tho, and i wonder what regret he has that keeps his soul stuck. beautiful way to talk about memory
