It's been over 15 yrs since I last read a Kay Scarpetta book. Once, I would have devoured the book the moment it was published - but that was only because my then wife would have spoiled it for me I didn't.
Now, I take my time.
Starting this one is like a fresh start. A new life for Kay & crew since the last book - which means a new starting point. So 15 yrs isn't so bad a gap.
