This is rough. I didn’t come here for sweet small town Sad Boi vibes. He’s weak, giving himself away, and compromising the squad.

This one needs editing. It feels rushed, doesn’t make a ton of sense, and is inconsistent with flashbacks versus memories. There are some scene break issues where time passes but the prose carries on like nothing happened and it’s very jarring. Final report tbd.
