It's so obvious that Hest and Sedric are lovers, the moment Hest joked about turning off the lights for the wedding night I was certain. Alise deserves better, watching her growing infatuation is heartbreaking. I hope he doesn't hurt her during the nuptial night. I hate cringe drama.

I’m not sure if it’s the book or the fact I’ve heard this book sucks, something isn’t working and I feel like I’m wading through molasses. Ugh! I want to finish this series this year so I have to keep going, but my goodness I’m not feeling it. I hope things pick up.
