I’m finding this book very tedious & not particularly enjoyable. There were a few interesting passages or observations, but overall it’s a drag. I get the concept of fragmented pieces reflecting the nature of life whilst travelling, it doesn’t make it into an engaging read though. I really enjoyed some of the other books by Tokarczuk, & I’m going to finish out of sheer doggedness, but I wish I had skipped it.
