As Im reading this, Im realizing how different the book is from the movie (1997). Very different. I start to ask Chatgpt about the connection to the movie and how could it be so different and then, I fall down a rabbit hole. I discovered that the author’s daughter was tragically murdered in 1989. It Explained so much and made me very interested in Lois Duncan herself and the story of her daughter. Stay Tuned.
