Told from her perspective as a child, this biography demonstrates the twisted and calculated strategies her abuser utilized to groom her, the way he charmed a neglected child and shrunk her world until it was just him. It's a disgusting, but important read to understand how a child could become prey to predators. I find myself wishing I could protect little Margaux.
