Is Luc finally reaching character development?? Redemption arc? Yes please.

Luc needs some serious therapy. At this point he’s just acting like a misguided teenager rather than an adult man, I’m really hoping for a redeeming character arc with some self development cause I’m starting to feel as annoyed with him as he seemingly feels with himself - Also angry evil Santa Claus lol, that cracked me up though!

Fun with a little bit of a “posh” setting and to see how the different characters react to it. I do think so far Alex and Miffy are portrayed a bit too cartoonishly with their lack of wits to the point of it being way too unrealistic and sadly breaking the immersion of it being a more heartfelt but realistic story. I do feel slightly stuck reading cause of the lack of exciting twists or situations.

“Brinner” and feeeeels! Omg these last three chapters made me squeal and squirm, so many feels and the tension… Perfection.

Lots of emotions, feels and wholesome🥹 Also Judy is awesome and such a vibe.

Awkward datenight end, continuous efforts to make the very autistic coworker understand abstract jokes and flustered early morning texts about d*ckpics or lack thereof - Things just keeps getting better and funnier, genuinely laughed out loud a couple of times.

Just finished reading the chapters about the first date and it was equal amounts of laughter and second hand embarrassment, definitely looking forward to see the dynamic evolve more.

I’m kind of a slow reader, but even more so I’m a picky reader. Regardless, this book has already captured my interest and have managed in very little time to get me attached to the characters. It’s written with warmth and the classic snarky, self-deprecating British humor has already given me several good laughs. I have yet to be introduced to the second main character, but I’m very excited to see it unfold.
