okay so i greatly miscalculated the page numbers because this was a short story in a newsletter bUT. THIS WAS SO CUTE??? OMG. and the hummingbird raising her baby? and aodhan and illium having a picnic while watching a couple of future? archangels race? gaaaah pls. you know how much material you would have with the childhood friends to lovers trope. SO MUCH. and then it'd be a different vibe than all the other books
