It’s interesting how it’s an inherent human trait to give our own attributes to nonhuman things. we can easily say a machine is “cute” if it’s small and bumps into things because we compare it to an innocent, mindless infant. however as complexity increases, we are more likely to see an increase if “intelligence” as a threat. is it also an inherent human trait to fear competition of intellect?
