We get more of Rorschach being a crazy, unhinged asshole. And it seems he’s the “The end is nigh” guy.

Issue 4 is superb. It’s about the attributes that made Jon Osterman into Dr. Manhattan. The accident that transformed him. His ability to constantly see the future. His ability to control particles with a single thought. His detachment from humanity. It’s all great to read through.

Finished chapter 2. It goes through multiple eras of Edward Blake’s life. Touches upon his connection to other superheroes. He’s a sick rapist asshole who slaughtered Vietnamese and harmed protestors. And he didn’t truly want to help people as a superhero. Only cared for himself. But at the end of his life, it seems he fears activities connected to an island and Dr. Manhattan. I wonder what he was on about.

Finally finished chapter 1. Things are shaping up to be an interesting mystery that delves into the history of this world’s superheroes. Along with their connection to the governments.

Rorschach is an unhinged, condescending asshole with gross conservative overtones.

That excerpt about the Nite Owl was… certainly something. Hope it gets more interesting. But I like how DC heroes are fictional in this world.
