I love how for Annes wedding her friends and family give her the rugs they made, blue plum preserves, their old guest bedding and especially the china dogs!! Such a sense of community in these books that feels lost sometimes. When Mr. and Mrs. Doctor and Captain Jim have their fire going and dinner made to welcome them to Four Winds on their wedding night 🥲🥲🥲 SO TENDER
